EPHESIANS‬ ‭1:13-14‬ ‭‬‬

“And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago. The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.”

Ephesians‬ ‭1:13-14‬ ‭NLT‬‬

It is easy to forget that Christians have guaranteed blessings. Every day lived on this earth is a chance to experience them, but always through the lens of grace, as our innate actions move us further and further from God. Fortunately, one of these blessings is the presence of the Holy Spirit. In him, we can have an assuredness of relationship with the Father and the Son. He reminds us of the truths that have been revealed. He speaks actively to us of God’s love and the proof inherent in the Son’s work on the cross. He gives us Scripture by which we can glean direction and satiate our need for daily interaction with ideas to input into our lives. His presence in our lives is possibly the single most important factor in keeping our newfound freedoms in line with God’s will. It is of paramount importance that Christians remember his presence. This is especially important when trials or doubts come upon us. By remembering and participating in a relationship with him, we can find peace. This peace is a blessing he gives to all he interacts with, no matter their nationality or race. When we commit to a relationship with him, we can participate in God’s blessings with confidence each day.
