Relationship is key to this passage. One cannot be educated if one doesn’t have knowledge. But not knowledge of a subject but of the character that inspired that subject. Our world is not made up of mere cogs but it is the vast tapestry constructed by a personality. If we can first see this and be open to that idea then knowledge about this world becomes obvious rather than difficult. The difficult thing is navigating through it, but not deciphering it or knowing where you are going. When we forget God, we eventually forget everything.

MY NAME IS JOSH MCGARY. First, I am a Pastor of a small church in Portland, Oregon named Aletheia Bible Fellowship. We call it ABF. I have been a pastor there for the better part of 20 years. I am very eclectic. What I love, I love loudly and immersively. I have notable collections of toys, funko pops, and vinyl. I also infamously love pop culture, comic books, technology, the arts, psychology and philosophy. https://sleek.bio/joshmcgary View more posts
