This is a powerful yet simple statement that trumps all other worldviews because it gives God the universal claim of ownership to our lives and environment. A recognition of this fact, or lack thereof… Is at the base of all lifestyles and actions. When people don’t conform or adapt to their environment morally… It’s because they don’t, with any honesty, give weight and reverence to this Supreme truth. Fitting that it’s how the Bible starts.
