MY NAME IS JOSH MCGARY.

First, I am a Pastor of a small church in Portland, Oregon named Aletheia Bible Fellowship. We call it ABF. I have been a pastor there since 2004

I believe in family. I am a former foster parent, an active God father, guardian and I have four biological children, Sophia, Joseph, Olivia & Daniel. I share a sincere familial bond with all of them. Father’s days are crowded. Together with my beautiful wife of about two decades, Mashayla, we try to bring God’s love and sense of adoption to all people.

I am very eclectic. What I love, I love loudly and immersively. I have notable collections of toys, funko pops, and vinyl. I also infamously love pop culture, comic books, technology, the arts, psychology and philosophy.

WHY THE WEBSITE?

I have always had something to say. My entire life, I have sought to get these thoughts out of my soul and onto any canvas I could find. My parents recognized this about me at a young age and encouraged me to document my mind. To that end, I have a large artistic footprint. As I have gotten older, I have realized a desire to share this with those I love. This website pulls all of my methods of expression together for anyone interested. My hope is that after I’m long gone, it will serve as my personal attic and hopefully a digital scrapbook for my children’s children.
